GitHub App

Recontent.app allows developers to export content to GitHub through a GitHub App. Once installed, content can be synced to GitHub through pull requests on a daily or weekly basis.

Setting up GitHub App

• Go to your Recontent.app workspace settings

• Go to "Integrations"

• Next to "Connected GitHub accounts" click "Add"

• Once you complete the GitHub OAuth flow, you'll be redirected to Recontent.app

Using GitHub destinations

• Go to your Recontent.app project

• Go to "Export", next to "Destinations" click "Add"

• Select "GitHub" as type

• Select your GitHub organization, repository & base branch

• Once created, pull requests will be opened based on sync frequency settings
